Dividends

3,226 verified payments across 348 companies, read from actual ex-dividend records rather than from a stated dividend policy. On these markets the payout is often the whole return, and the date that decides whether you receive it is the ex-date.

Which markets this covers

Every payment here comes from EGX and JSE348 of the 726 listings this site tracks. We hold no corporate-action records at all for BRVM, BSE, NGX, USE. That is a gap in our sources, not a statement about those companies — several of them certainly do pay, and we simply cannot yet show it.

The archive begins 11 Aug 2021. Anything below described as “observed since” a date means since our records start, not since the company started paying.

These paid on an established rhythm and have now gone past the point where the next payment was due. That can mean a cut, a deferral, or simply a company that moved its calendar — we cannot tell which, and we do not guess. It is stated because a trailing yield keeps quoting the old payments long after they stop.

Consistent payers, by trailing yield

top 25 of 222

Companies with at least six payments across four or more distinct years — a record long enough that the rhythm is not a coincidence. Ranked by trailing yield, which is a function of price as much as of payout: a yield that looks remarkable usually means the share fell, not that the dividend rose.
